The Global Insights Consulting Practice is our largest business-line globally and runs evidenced-based consulting programmes based on interviewing the leading industry experts and key decision makers at buy-side clients and intermediaries annually. The Global Insights Consulting practice conducts more than 50 evidence-based Insights Consulting Programmes annually, covering life insurance, health insurance, wealth management, asset management and reinsurance, across all major financial services markets internationally.

**Summary Statement**:
This is an exciting opportunity within our Sydney Insights practice for an individual who is seeking to advance their career in a consulting environment.

The role will manage the implementation and delivery of our core Insights propositions within Australia and other global markets, working closely with senior colleagues to develop insightful analysis, deepen relationships with clients, contribute to consulting assignments and drive the vision for improvement and growth.

This position will suit a self-motivated individual who possesses strong technical and analytical skills in addition to excellent client management abilities. Responsible for programme design, interview management and client delivery, immersion in our methodologies will be critical for success, along with the ability to articulate and debate insights and key messages with senior executives. Over time you will be considered a key source within the market for critical insight and analysis.

- Join Us**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analysing interview & market data across the life insurance, asset management & wealth management programmes in Australia to develop critical outputs to support market insight development
- Working closely with the programming/technical team and Consultants on various projects, acting as a point-person to discuss and agree the priorities of queries with Consultants as required
- Articulating critical findings for the industry and for clients, proactively engaging with key stakeholders on relevant topics, industry themes and the development of new content
- Support the engagement and management of associates to undertake interviews required for relevant programmes; Engaging with the NMG team globally to learn methodologies, leveraging existing capabilities to continue to evolve our programmes
- Developing strong relationships with clients through the research process and delivery of insights
- Utilising the collective expertise and resources across all divisions of the NMG Consulting Group in order to fully exploit our “information advantage” and improve the quality of our client offering
- Identifying and implementing improvements to processes to lift efficiency and quality

**Competencies, Qualifications & Experience**:

- A superior tertiary qualification, additional qualifications or honours valued
- Proven data analytics and problem-solving skills and awareness of best in class solutions; excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- 3-5 years experience in Financial Services, preferably within insurance or reinsurance
- A strategic and creative thinker who is highly self-motivated, capable of independent and team-work
- High level of enthusiasm for the industry, a positive attitude, energetic approach, curiosity and willingness to learn
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience in SQL as well as database management and/or other programming languages are added advantages
- Prior experience in consulting or insights roles is strongly preferred
