About the Role
Whitehaven Coal have a new exciting opportunity in our People Logistics team for an Accommodation and Flights Superintendent. The role will work in a small team to assist in the customer service for accommodation and flights for our Blackwater and Daunia operations team. This will be a Brisbane based role Monday to Friday.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Commercial General Manager your role will consist of:

- Lead the People Logistics team, managing the bus logistics, housing, flights and accommodation for our mining operations, predominately for the Blackwater and Daunia mines
- People logistics process and procedure creation, review and implementation
- People logistics optimisation strategy, and delivery of business improvement initiatives
- Shutdown and non-business as usual people logistics planning management
- Accommodation/bussing/flight disruption management

What You’ll Bring
- Knowledge of Uplift Platform, INX SAM Suite (SAM and Workflow) is essential
- Self-motivator who can drive performance and excellence from your direct reports whilst also providing a safe and collaborative work environment.
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
- Intermediate level skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
- High levels of organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills;
