Dental Assistant/receptionist

Gatton Dental is looking for a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our friendly, close-knit team. The position will initially be offered on a casual basis of approximately 8-15 hours per week (likely to be Tuesday, Thursday and Friday shifts) with the potential for more hours to become available in the future. Some evening shifts may be required.

**Duties & responsibilities will include**:

- Infection control and sterilization
- Preparing the surgery for, and cleaning up after procedures, including the preparation of materials used in these treatments.
- Chairside Assisting
- Answering phone calls, and answering patient queries.
- Efficient administration of the practice including stock control
- Acting as the first point of contact for patients at reception - taking payment, scheduling appointments, preparing them for procedures, updating patient records
- Ensuring surgery cleanliness is maintained at all times

Hourly rate to be determined by experience.

**Experience**:

- Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
