About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to step into a key leadership position and shape the success of a new venture. As Cafe Manager, your role will be pivotal in managing daily operations, mentoring your team, and cultivating an inviting atmosphere for our customers. You will collaborate closely with the management team of The Vineyard to ensure seamless operations across the entire venue, driving the growth and success of Tommy’s Café while also supporting other outlets when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the cafe team to deliver outstanding service and create exceptional experiences
Manage daily cafe operations, including inventory management, staff training, and workflow efficiency.
Contribute to the overall growth of the venue by developing strategies to enhance our food and beverage offerings.
Foster a positive team culture and support your team during peak periods by actively engaging in service, whether that’s brewing the perfect cup of coffee or connecting with guests on the floor.
Work closely with senior management to align on goals and execute plans that will elevate the café’s presence in the community.
About You
**To thrive in this role, you will have**:
At least 2 years of experience as a Cafe Manager in a fast-paced environment.
Strong barista skills and the ability to jump in during busy service periods.
Proven experience in growing and scaling a café’s volume of food and coffee offerings.
Experience in inventory management, stock ordering, and rostering.
A passion for the hospitality industry and a vision for building a café that stands out.
An outgoing personality, able to engage guests and lead your team with positivity and enthusiasm.
