Job Title: Barista

Location: 3201 Old Cleveland Rd, Chandler, 4155

Employment: Casual Hours (3.30 am to 6.30pm) preference for closing shifts needed

**Role Overview**

As a Taste My Bean Barista, you're the foundation of our customer experience. From maintaining impeccable cleanliness to providing warm, efficient service to customers, your role ensures every visit is a delightful and memorable one. You will be responsible for making the TMB range of beverages, both hot and cold, Customer Orders, Point of Sale, you will also actively contribute to the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the store.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Actively contributing to the cleanliness and orderliness of the store.
- Take and accurately log customer orders, ensuring all preferences and special requests are noted.
- Keep all café areas orderly and clean, including cleaning public areas and clearing used glasses and plates.
- Offer support to food and beverage attendants in tasks like food preparation (excluding cooking or serving) and table maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Ensure that the kitchens inventory is clean and orderly, reporting periodic stock checks to shift supervisors and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Take and accurately log customer orders, ensuring all preferences and special requests are noted.
- Handle Point-of-Sale (POS) processes, which includes proficiently managing transactions, handling, and counting money, and providing precise change.
- Operate the drive-through system efficiently, ensuring prompt and courteous service to all customers.
- Expertly preparing a variety of beverages, including hot and cold coffee drinks
- Coordinating orders with team members of a lower level to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Ensuring the proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of coffee machines and related equipment.
- Monitoring and managing kitchen supplies and stock, promptly alerting management if supplies are running low.
- Keeping store equipment is in optimal working condition by following operating and organizational instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and maintaining necessary supplies.

**Requirements**:
Experience in Café or hospitality work,

Strong Experience as a barista beverage making and Coffee Machine use.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Good Communication skills

Available for Closing Shifts 6.30 pm

**Compensation**

Taste my Bean operates within the framework of the Food and Beverage stream of the Restaurant Industry Award 2020. This Role is a Level 2 Classification.

All time training and in team meetings are paid.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
