As a **Hotel Assistant Manager **at The Star Grand, you will manage and support our Front Office team while overseeing the daily operations to ensure a worldclass experience for our guests. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will build memorable connections with both our team members and guests. **A few of your responsibilities**: - Assist the Front Office Manager to ensure that the highest standards of guest service are achieved and maintained - Maintain accurate duty manager log books - Assist with the people planning requirements including recruitment, rostering, training and development - Manage guest queries and complaints ensuring a satisfactory resolution - Ensure hand over information is properly communicated to next shift **What we are looking for**: - Previous supervisory or management experience within a hotel - Demonstrated leadership skills - Knowledge of Opera property management system - Ability to work independently and act on guest requests appropriately - Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster including weekends - Experience building positive working relationships between departments and within the team - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills **About you**: As a seasoned expert in customer service and leadership, you understand the essence of delivering world-class service.
