We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive **Safety Inspector** to join our team and help uphold the highest standards of workplace health and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong knowledge of WHS legislation and practical safety experience to play a vital role in protecting people and promoting a culture of safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine and ad hoc safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across worksites.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company policies, and industry standards.
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare clear, detailed safety reports and documentation.
- Support incident investigations and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Engage with staff and contractors to promote safe work practices and provide on-the-ground guidance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of health and safety systems and procedures.

**About You**:

- Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (essential)
- White Card / Construction Induction Card (essential)
- Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Proven experience in a safety, compliance, or inspection role.
- Strong observation, communication, and report writing skills.
- Confidence to approach and educate staff at all levels.
- High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
