Our client is a dynamic and fast growing furniture supplier specialising in delivery of contract furniture for hospitality and workplace fit-outs, based in
**Padstow, NSW**.

**The Opportunity**
We're seeking a motivated and reliable
**Warehouse Storeman/Leading Hand** to join a small team within our clients high-end commercial furniture fit-outs business. This role involves

a lot of manual handling including heavy lifting, as well as forklift operation.

**What you'll be doing**:
Reporting to the Distribution Manager your leading hand duties will include prioritising daily and weekly tasks, and managing a small team of warehouse staff.
- This role also involves:_
- Lifting, moving, quality checking, packing, unpacking & storing of stock
- Stock & transport management
- Furniture assembly
- Receive & dispatch orders
- General warehouse duties & forklift operation
- A range of daily & weekly tasks including managing a small team

**What's on offer**:

- Full-time permanent position, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm
- Up to** $65KPA+ Super**:

**Skills & Experience**:
Attention to detail with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks is essential, ensuring that all furniture is assembled correctly and fit for commercial use.
- **3 years minimum experience in a warehousing environment**:

- **Forklift license & driving experience**:

- Good communication skills with the ability to manage a small team
- Problem solving skills & the ability to work to deadlines
- Good with your hands & familiar with a range of power tools
- Commitment to WH&S policies and procedures
- Supply chain management. Delivery coordination from multiple sources
- _Furniture assembly experience (commercial & high end) - desired_
