Grappa Ristorante e Bar in Leichhardt seeks full time Monday -Friday Function co-ordinator member to join our passionate, friendly, energetic team.

We are seeking a genuine, vibrant, self-motivated, reliable & flexible team player who is experienced in a la carte & event dining.

Must be attentive, with an eye for detail, and able to work under pressure.

Computer skills essential

Must be able to communicate well with colleagues and customers.

Key responsibilities:
Customer service: Dealing with customers on all levels: online & phone reservations / booking enquiries, general enquiries. Meeting and greeting.

Event co-ordination skills: Planning functions, menus and seating plans, to ensure smooth running of all events and ensuring clients’ needs are meet

Collaborate with management & head chef to organize daily tasks

Assist as first point of contact for all guests’ questions, compliments & complaints, aiming to resolve any issues as timely and appropriately as possible.

Help our office administration

Experience with POS system & Mac preferred

Social media knowledge preferred

Other attributes:
Exceptional presentation and grooming

Able to work weekends, opening & closing shifts

Knowledge of food & wine preferred

RSA competency card preferred

Strong work ethic
