**What is a Support worker?**

A support worker is someone who looks after the well-being of people in their daily lives. If you are passionate about making a real difference in people's lives, then Affective Care is the team to join At Affective Care, our team of Support Workers strive to support people with disabilities to reach their goals. Specifically, our Support Workers support our participants with social, community, and recreational participation, in-home support, personal care, and daily living activities.

**Responsibilities**
- Drive clients to appointments and to participate in social outings
- Assisting in participants high personal care and grooming within their home and assistance with household activities.
- Providing both physical and emotional support
- Provide care in accordance with their care plan and as directed, provide direct care assistance to participant
- Aid Client in accessing the community

**Qualifications**

Relevant diploma or certificate such as a Certificate III in individual support.

NDIS worker screening check required.

Valid First aid and CPR certificate
