**Your New Position**:
Silanna is experiencing a period of growth and is looking for a passionate team member who has an eye for detail, is proactive and has effective communication and interpersonal skills to work under the guidance of the Purchasing and Logistics Manager. The Store and Shipment Officer is a newly created role focused on performing all purchasing activities related to stock items and ensuring efficiencies and quality of deliveries and shipping.

Key responsibilities include:

- Purchasing goods in line with purchasing procedures
- Packing and shipping all outgoing goods; including following up suppliers and maintaining records
- Receiving shipments
- Maintaining the inventory
- Maintaining the ERP (Epicor)
- Inspecting the quality of goods against the delivery docket and purchase order

**About You**:
In addition to the above, you will have experience working in purchasing, warehouse or logistics that has ideally (but not essentially) been gained from the electronics industry focused within the manufacturing sector. Your working knowledge of cost and management purchasing systems combined with your practical hands-on skills supported by a team oriented approach will hold you in good stead for success in this role. Furthermore it is essential that you demonstrate a strong ability to be organised, efficient and ensure accuracy of data.
