**Your new company**
This Federal Government team are responsible for receiving, assessing and resolving concerns regarding national disability services, and are looking for several Complaints and Reportable Incidents Officers to join the Department for an initial period of 2 years.
**Your new role**
You will be responsible for working with complainants and relevant stakeholders to identify concerns and develop options to achieve resolution. You will manage a caseload of incident reports which will require you to engage with providers and escalate actions where necessary. In turn, this will be done with the intention of supporting the education and training function of providers in identifying incidents, preventing and responding to abuse, and understanding the Departments role in the process.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You must have a genuine interest in customer service, and can maintain resilience and confidence in response to sensitive concerns. Moreover, you will have excellent engagement skills and will be comfortable communicating with stakeholders at various levels.
You must hold Australian Citizenship to be considered for this vacancy. An understanding of the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Framework a the NDIS Act is desirable.
