**The Role**

We are seeking a Teacher - Mathematics with a secondary teaching area of Science, responsible for delivering a cutting-edge curriculum at Sheldon College within the Mathematics and Science Faculty. Working with a dynamic team of dedicated educators, your goal will be to enhance the capacity and confidence of students and delivery of the ACARA Curriculum.

This is a Full Time, Fixed Term, Term 3 role teaching Maths and Science Year 7-10.

**About you**
- Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications majoring in Mathematics and/or major or postgraduate in Education.
- Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
- Demonstrated experience delivering Mathematics curriculum in Secondary Education.
- Ability to plan and deliver exceptional teaching and learning programs that meet the needs of students in Mathematics according to ACARA and QCAA.
- Passion for quality teaching and learning and the ability to translate this into a challenging learning environment with strong student engagement and excellent academic outcomes.
- Demonstrated capacity for reflection and self-directed learning with a commitment to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships with students, parents and colleagues and partnerships within the wider community.
- Strong team orientation with a willingness to contribute and collaborate.
- High standards of personal integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to be a proactive and collaborative member of a team.
- A warm, welcoming and friendly disposition.

**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Experience and knowledge in preparing students for External Examinations.
- QCAA accreditation in the QCE processes including Endorsement, Confirmation, External Marking.
