The
**Transport Supervisor** will assist in the day-to-day running of the Distribution department as a support person for the team whether on-site or on the road. You will be overlooking rostering and scheduling. You will also provide guidance, support and training to transport staff.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing a safe working environment to staff;
- Monitoring compliances with our client’s quality requirements;
- Ensuring company policies and processes are in place and are adhered to;
- Meeting operational budgets and performance targets/KPI’s;
- Assist with rostering and scheduling;
- Ensuring deliveries are routed in the most efficient order;
- Assisting with deliveries, when required;
- Assisting the Logistics manager in overseeing all overtime worked in the Transport Department;
- Handling customer queries regarding delivery or stock issues;
- Ensuring Transport staff are adequately trained for the relevant duties;
- Assisting the coordination of after hours support for Delivery Vehicles;
- Monitoring vehicle maintenance and organising repairs when required;
- Maintaining relationships with other departments within the business;
**Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum MR License required
- Knowledge of the Food Service Distributions industry preferred
- Possess Basic Fatigue Management Accreditation or be willing to obtain one
- Conputer savvy
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work in high pressure environments
- Flexible and reliable
- Great problem solving skills
- Knowledge of HACCP and OH&S regulations
- Competency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
