**About the Role**
The role provides operational support for the Medical Support Panel. This role is the central point of contact for the MSP stakeholders, which include Claim Service Providers, internal icare staff and the Specialists within the MSP. The role requires the coordination of services undertaken by the MSP from triage through to quality review of the recommendations and associated record keeping.

**Duties**
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a **Medical Support Panel (MSP)** **Coordinator** you will:
- Coordinate and facilitate support services to ensure the effective operation of the MSP, including daily medical case discussions, contact with internal and external stakeholders, onboarding of external users to the MSP services and the management of dedicated mailboxes.
- Work directly with the medical specialists as part of the MSP team to deliver high quality customer experience and build and maintain collaborative relationships with key external stakeholders and service providers to enhance MSP service outcomes.
- Assist with the development and implementation of processes and procedures to ensure consistent, effective and smooth delivery of MSP services.
- Monitor MSP workflow queues and undertake quality assurance checks on referrals to the MSP and coordinate additional information required from agents.
- Undertake quality reviews of MSP specialist recommendations to ensure details are accurate, relevant, and are in line with legislation.
- Triage, allocate and monitor referrals to medical specialists to ensure all matters are handled in a timely manner and in line with MSP key metrics indicators and Legislative timeframes.
- Work across multiple systems to coordinate MSP services.
**Skills & Experience**

- Organisational skills combined with the ability to prioritise work in a high-volume environment.
- Exercise initiative, judgement, empathy and sensitivity in order to effectively coordinate activities, make recommendations and handle situations.
- Medical understanding with the ability and experience to liaise with medical specialists.
