**The Role**
As a Quality Facilitator at Streamline Cartons, you will oversee and enhance quality and environmental management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HACCP, FSC, and PEFC standards. You'll conduct audits, manage certifications, lead employee training, support continuous improvement, and maintain essential documentation. Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality, sustainable packaging solutions.
**Salary offered is $100,000 to $110,000 plus superannuation, commiserate with your experience.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Quality System Maintenance and Improvement**:
- Oversee and enhance the quality management system (QMS) to ensure continued compliance with ISO 9001.
- Manage and refine the environmental management system (EMS) in alignment with ISO 14001 requirements.
- Ensure the proper implementation and functioning of HACCP procedures to maintain food safety standards.
- Maintain adherence to FSC and PEFC standards, updating documentation and managing chain-of-custody records.
- **Audit Management**:
- Plan, conduct, and document internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 9001, HACCP, FSC, and PEFC standards.
- Act as the company's representative for third-party external audits, ensuring all documentation and processes are ready for inspection.
- Lead and coordinate second-party (customer) audits, demonstrating the company's compliance and quality practices.
- **Compliance and Certification**:
- Ensure that all compliance requirements are met, and certifications are maintained.
- Work with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections, providing required documentation and facilitating their process.
- **Training and Support**:
- Conduct training for employees on quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Provide continuous support and guidance to teams to help maintain quality objectives and adherence to procedures.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement within current systems and processes, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions for any non-conformities identified during audits.
- Enhance operational excellence by implementing TQM strategies, lean manufacturing practices, six-sigma, and SPC.
- Conduct the annual customer satisfaction survey to measure customer satisfaction and develop strategies to maximize customer satisfaction by addressing the needs and expectations of the customers.
- Response to the customer queries and quality concerns and enhance service & product quality by consulting customers and the internal production team.
- Collaborate with customers to review their perspectives on the Streamline Cartons' ability to deliver reliable and high-quality services.
- Evaluate and collaborate with the packaging material suppliers to ensure that they meet quality & food safety requirements and maintain consistent product quality.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive quality records, including audit reports, corrective actions, training logs, and compliance documentation.
- Prepare reports for management summarizing audit findings, compliance status, and improvement recommendations.
Minimum qualifications and experience required:
AQF Bachelor’s qualification plus at least 1 year of relevant work experience, or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of qualification
Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
