Our OSHC service** Dawson Park Helping Hands Network** is looking for a dedicated **Educator** to join our team in delivering fun and engaging programs for primary school children. This **permanent part-time** role guarantees a minimum of **20 hours per week**, with opportunities for extra hours during the school holidays.
**About the Role**
Working alongside a supportive team, you’ll help create a welcoming and enriching environment for children aged 5-12 years old. Your role will include:
- Facilitating exciting, child-led activities, including STEM, sports, cooking, arts & crafts - whatever you and the kids love
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and the school community
- Collaborating with a team of skilled Educators to ensure a safe, fun, and engaging program
You'll work split shifts Monday - Friday across the services opening hours of:
Morning: 6:30am - 8:45am (Rise then Shine Program)
Afternoon: 2:45pm - 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program)
School Holidays: 6:00am - 6:00pm (Holiday HQ Program)
**Who We’re Looking For**
No formal experience? No problem We’ll provide all the training you need. We’re looking for someone who:
✔️ Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
✔️ Communicates clearly and confidently
✔️ Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
✔️ Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
✔️ Has Australian work rights
