At Infinite Care, we pride ourselves on providing industry leading resident care and services which encourages and enables residents to remain independent with all employees working in our companywide safety-first workplace. Our Carers can work across the 7 days either on the AM, PM and Nighttime shifts. We offer shifts in strength & conditioning physio, 1:1 companion support, memory support, engagement and wellbeing and medication shifts with inhouse training programs and buddy systems.

This role based at Ashmore aged care home | Gold Coast will see you working closely with the nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. The attached position description outlines specific job duties and accountabilities.

**_ About You_**

At Infinite Care we hire for heart, so our best people are highly empathic, instil a strong work ethic and passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally, you have recently graduated with a Diploma of Nursing or are a 2nd year Bachelor of nursing student with your first-year placement completed and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also
- Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears
- Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and follow strict safety procedures at all times to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
- A passion for choosing a career where you can make a difference and willingness to help our company deliver quality of care services everyday
- Great communication skills to engage with our elderly residents in a calm, patient and highly empathic manner that builds trust, companionship and friendship in a warm style.
- Diploma of nursing graduate or 2nd year Bachelor of nursing student with a placement completion
- Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector. (*or willingness to obtain)
