Northern Star Resources has exciting opportunities at our world class **Jundee & Carosue Dam Operations** for an experienced **Gold Room Operator**working on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster FIFO ex Perth.The Gold Room Operator reports to the Processing Supervisor and the primary role is to operate all gold recovery sections of the Processing Plant, along with the day to day running of the gold room. This includes all gravity concentration equipment with ILR, Elution, Regeneration and Electrowinning circuits with each circuit to be operated in accordance with specified parameters to optimise gold production/recovery. This also includes basic maintenance of operational equipment within the nominated areas. Strict compliance of all site security requirements, for the safe and secure handling of gold bullion.**_ Here's what awaits you..._**
- Maintaining a high level of security and vigilance as well as completing accurate records and log sheets
- Operating various plant and equipment in accordance with documented safe work procedures
- The operation of the gold recovery processes according to process parameters and control limits in accordance with documented safe work procedures
- Ensuring maintenance requirements are reported and/or carried out in accordance with safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping, cleanliness, and tidiness around the gold recovery processes

**_ To thrive in this role, you'll need..._**
- **Experience**:Minimum 2 year's experience in the mining industry in a gold room, operation of tailing storage facilities, ability to train and transfer knowledge in alignment with the department training matrix, flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.
- **Qualifications**: Valid Australian Drivers Licence, Computer literacy: Microsoft Excel & Pronto - desirable
