This role is not with ECG, we are giving our good mates at
**Taranis Power Group** a hand. They have been delivering on-time, on-budget electrical services to the power generation sector across West Australia for 15 + years. Servicing both the onshore mining and offshore space, TPG have extensive experience in servicing, repairing, upgrading and commissioning Oil & Gas and Marine power generation assets and their associated ancillary control system equipment. We are also an authorized CAT dealership & service center, as well as exclusive representative / distributor for Variogen, cutting edge gen set technology developed in house.

**THE ROLE**

Taranis Power Group are in the market for a Workshop Manager, to co-ordinate works, and drive efficiency / synergy between the Perth and Karratha workshops, as well as lead and motivate a team of skilled tradesmen and engineers.

**THE DUTIES**

Track & Maintain work schedules to ensure efficient utilisation of equipment and resources

Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders pertaining to customers, component performance, product, workmanship, and warranty

Oversee component rebuilds allocated to the Perth Workshop

Ensure solid support function to the site based maintenance teams for breakdowns and repairs

Maintain a collaborative positive attitude among all in the workshop

To be considered for the role of
**Workshop Manager**
- Solid understanding and exposure to power generators, the power generation process in terms of design, modification, maintenance / service
- Previous experience on Gen sets: we deliver power ranging from 30KV to 2000 +
- Exposure & understanding delivering /operating / maintaining plant in remote location.
- Experience in managing workshop / driving work out the door while maintaining quality systems
- Experience implementing a work tracking system with clear Profit and Loss tracking / forecasting capability
- Ability to conduct gap analysis on workshop performance to drive efficiencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on developing effective relationships and team building
- Ideally experience in in Simpro
