**The Role**:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Garment Technician to uphold the highest standards of fit, construction, quality, and design throughout our product development process. This role involves working closely with design, production, and supplier teams to create, refine, and deliver garments that align with both aesthetic and functional requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop prototypes and samples to match design vision and quality standards.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure smooth product development.
- Create tech packs, garment specifications, and grading rules.
- Lead fit sessions and ensure timely approval of samples, providing fit comments and troubleshooting issues.
- Conduct quality checks on samples and production runs.
- Ensure all garments meet fit, safety, and fabric testing standards, especially for childrenswear
- Lead wear tests and document feedback to maintain consistent product quality.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve fit, quality, and production issues.
- Provide feedback to suppliers on fit and construction, ensuring alignment with brand expectations.
- Inspect final samples before bulk production, ensuring quality, fit, and design integrity.
- Troubleshoot technical and production issues, ensuring adherence to timelines.
- Conduct risk assessments on fabrics, finishes, and construction methods.
- Maintain accurate tech packs and production timelines
- Ensure consistency with size standards and construction methods across all products.
- Provide technical support in selecting trims, fabrics, and finishes

**We’re looking for someone who**:

- Has 2-5 years of experience in garment technology or product development, preferably in childrenswear.
- Holds a tertiary qualification in fashion or têxtiles.
- Is proficient in Adobe Illustrator (or equivalent) and Excel
- Has experience creating and managing tech packs.
- Has strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and offshore suppliers.
- Has exceptional attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Has a problem-solving mindset and can think outside the box to improve processes.
