**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning individual who enjoys working outdoors to join our Operations team at our branch in Newcastle, 2290. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. In this role, we are looking for someone with high attention to detail, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for change.

In this hands-on role, your key responsibilities would include:

- Booking in a range of Trucks / Machinery by taking photos, entering make/model descriptions and details onto our user-friendly auction system via iPad
- Locate, move, (using a forklift), damaged motor vehicles and record the movements of all vehicles
- Conduct daily prestart forklift checks, basic maintenance checks, and complete forklift logbooks to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner.
- Load/unload trucks and vehicles / Equipment efficiently to ensure they are processed in a timely
- Maintain a safe work environment and following all WHS policies and procedures

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

- Passion for Trucks/Machinery - experience in a similar role/industry will be highly regarded
- **Current & valid drivers' license with ability to drive manual (essential)**:

- **Current, valid forklift license (essential)**:

- Sound ability to use an iPad
- A strong commitment to safety
- Good attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
