**Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Casual and Permanent**

Fairview provides a home for people requiring all levels of care. The organisation is highly regarded in the community. We currently have vacancies for casual and part time Personal Care Assistants (PCA).

Our dedicated staff work with the same residents every day. This continuity allows for deep and trusting relationships to develop between residents, employees and families.

If you are committed to the provision of aged care, want to make a difference in the community in which you live, have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills we would like to hear from you.

**The successful applicant/s will have**:

- Certificate III in Aged Care or higher
- Experience in residential aged care
- A positive attitude, compassion and empathy for elders
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with people of differing backgrounds whilst maintaining role and professional boundaries
- Ability to understand and implement resident care plans.
- Able to write and speak English in a way that supports clear communication with colleagues and government investigative bodies
- Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors.
- Demonstrated time management and multitasking skills.
- Pro-active and dedicated approach to deliver best practice care.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
- Able to demonstrate flexibility to workplace demands and a teamwork attitude
- Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination

We employ a team of experienced nurses and carers delivering consistent, high quality residential and respite care. Our people arrange a variety of lifestyle activities and listen to residents and families, providing welcome support, advice and opportunities to get the most out of life.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 12- 38 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff to wear masks, RAT Test as instructed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Warragul, VIC 3820: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Personal care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
