**The Opportunity**

Our Lysaght business is looking for a **Customer Experience Specialist**to join the **Customer Service Team**based in **Canberra**. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

Being the face of BlueScope, you will ensure all our customers receive exceptional service. You’ll be joining a supportive, fast paced customer focused team renowned for their high performance.

This is a Monday to Friday position, offering flexibility for work/life balance, access to our Employee Assistance Program, and ongoing training and development opportunities.

**What Will You Do?**

This role will offer variety and scope for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys the full spectrum of a busy workplace. You will take ownership of the end-to-end order management process while building and nurturing strong relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency, accuracy, and a high level of service. In addition to general sales and customer service duties, you’ll be responsible for the following**:

- interacting with our customers face to face as well as managing online quotes and customer queries
- following up on quotations and inquiries converting these into sales opportunities
- collaborating with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including product specifications, special packaging, and delivery timetable
- continuously look at new ways of improving the customer experience

As an experienced customer service professional with exposure to managing client accounts, you will bring:

- strong commitment to providing and fostering an exceptional customer experience
- superior attention to detail with the ability to resolve issues and identify solutions
- intermediate to advanced skills of MS Office, including MS Excel
- excellent communication and relationship building skills
- a passion for sales, building design and/or architecture
- a team player who thrives in a collaborative, energetic and enthusiastic environment
