**About the role**

This is a senior leadership position within our Customer Experience Delivery team with primary accountability for the delivery and ongoing management of customer products, services and experiences. In this role, you will be a thought leader, leading and developing a high-performance culture and team, that delivers results and is committed to building the best sports wagering products and experiences to exceed customer expectations.

You will be a core member of the Customer Experience Delivery Leadership Team (a leader of leaders) and Technology Extended Leadership team, with accountability for collaborating with a broader group of senior leaders to drive strategic change, people engagement and positive cultural influence.

**Key responsibilities also include**:

- Leadership and development of a high-performing and cross-functional team of specialists spanning design (solution, technical and user experience), engineering, delivery and operations of customer facing platforms and products
- Continually improving and developing the team culture and values to ensure that we have highly motivated team members who are engaged in their work and enjoy working at Sportsbet
- Working closely in partnership with our platform teams to ensuring that platforms deliver the required availability, performance and capability to support the Sportsbet business both now and into the future as the company continues to grow.
- Proactively engage with all stakeholders to ensure that our products and experiences align with the commercial and customer intent
- Continually improve the ways of working to drive effectiveness of the teams, allowing them to appropriately balance the delivery of portfolio with the maintenance of our key platforms and systems.
- Strategic leadership of key projects and programs, working closely with key stakeholders to govern not only the technical delivery and actively support the implementation of non-technical components
- Be a proactive member and leader within the broader Technology ELT and undertake initiatives to improve the working environment and capabilities across Technology as a whole

**About You**

We’re looking for highly motivated individual, with proven leadership experience of large teams, having led the design & delivery of technology solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment.

You are an accomplished Technology leader who has successfully led significant Technology initiatives and delivered broad reaching transformational change.

You value and encourage other’s expertise, efforts and ideas and provide support when things don’t always go as planned, with a customer first attitude striving to improve customer experience.

You have excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, are a skilled negotiator, able to successfully move within an ambiguous, fast
- paced, constantly changing environment.

**Key skills also include**:

- Experience and proven knowledge in a range of delivery and operational methodologies and approaches (DevOps, Agile, Lean) with expertise in methodologies used at Sportsbet
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Business and commercial acumen
- Skilled planning and execution skills, driving delivery and success within your team
- Strategic and tactical in orientation and approach
- Excellent vendor management capabilities (including negotiation and contract management)
