About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to support research led by the Forensic Mental Health Research Stream at the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research. The role will involve producing deliverables for a range of domestic and international mental health research projects.
About you
- Understanding and experience of research processes.
- Mixed methods research, analysis and report-writing skills. Knowledge of data linkage would be an advantage.
- High level organisational skills and a commitment to following project protocols and maintaining critical project documentation, including ethics and governance documentation, and variables lists.
- High-level of interpersonal skills and interest in classification. Knowledge of mental health services in Australia, and understanding of classification of standardised coding protocols (e.g., ICD-10), would be an advantage.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Possession of a degree from a recognised tertiary institution in health, social or behavioural sciences or a related field. Being currently enrolled in a higher degree program will be viewed favourably.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
