We currently have a vacancy for a Boilermaker to join our Operations Team in Artarmon, NSW.
- The key responsibilities of this role will include: (but not limited to)_
- Performs safe welding and metal fabrication with little or no supervision, using new and existing methods, policies and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Working in confined spaces and on elevated work platform equipment
- Utilising a variety of hand tools
- Complete quality handovers with oncoming crews and other maintenance teams including contractors across both ports as required
- To be successful in this role you will have:_
- Trade certificate in Fabrication / Engineering
- MMA&MIG&TIG welding experience
- At least 3 years’ experience as an welder or boilermaker in a heavy industrial manufacturing or mining environment
- Experience with low to medium pipework
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and structural drawings.
- Confined Space and Work at Heights Qualifications
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Ability to use of CMMS (Emaint)
