**About the role**

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Auditor to join our firm to provide outstanding client service with the provision of quality, timely and cost effective audit and business services. Key tasks include responsibility for technical competence, commercial acumen and the preparation of various audits and financial statements.

Our audit services are carried out for a large number of self-managed superannuation funds, companies, clubs and not-for-profit entities across Macarthur, Sydney and throughout Australia.

**Skills and experience**

The successful applicant will have:

- Degree in accounting or relevant discipline, with aim to commence the Chartered Accountants (CA) Program in the near future
- 2+ years comparable experience in an audit role
- Solid knowledge of audit and accounting standards
- MYOB AE software experience, including financial statement preparation
- Able to demonstrate diligence and high attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to use initiative
- Advanced computer skills

**Duties**
- Plan and perform operational and financial audits (including company, trust, self-managed superannuation fund) as instructed by the partner/manager
- Identify business process risks
- Complete testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of controls and document the results of the evaluations
- Develop recommendations based on audits and present these ideas to the partner/manager
- Plan and allocate your time in accordance with skills and schedules
- Complete some business services work as required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
