**About this opportunity**

Working in either Day, Afternoon or Night Shift, the Operator role will cover 24/5 operations at this Greenfields, state of the art rPET recycling facility. The Operator will be trained efficiently in areas such as Quality and WHSE.

The operator role will play a key role in delivering a Continuous Improvement mindset and initiatives to process 28,000 tonnes of baled post-consumer PET per annum for conversion into food grade rPET resin.

**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Comply with WHSE procedures and directions and follow reasonable instructions, always working towards Goal Zero.
- Actively participate in all Company training on Quality Policies and Procedures and always upholding those standards
- Contribute to product quality through inspection and testing where specified on Operators Instruction sheets.
- Advise Supervisors or Technicians promptly of WHSE, Quality, Maintenance or People issues.
- Housekeeping of workstations during shift, with a final clean up at the end of the shift.
- Training and development opportunity.
- Be an active member of the operations team through open & honest communication.

**Your skills and experience**

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- Experience in operating high-reach and counterbalance forklifts.
- Experience in loading/unloading trucks.
- Physically fit and able to do manual tasks.
- Store person, warehouse, manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in handling dangerous goods preferred. Dangerous goods handling training can be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely, effectively and productively.
- Have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
- Superior communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience of working within & actively contributing to a Continuous Improvement environment
