**Your role**:

- We are seeking Automotive Repair Assistants on day shift (6am-2.30pm Monday to Friday) at our Port Botany and Waverley (near Bondi Junction train station) bus workshops. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a team of talented professionals and bring your unique skills and perspectives to support our goals. Depending on the depot location there may be a requirement to work an afternoon shift ie 10.30am-7pm or 11am-7.30pm (15% shift allowance is payable for the whole shift)

**Your responsibilities**:

- Assist Engineering Repair Trades staff with service, maintenance and repair of the bus fleet.
- Cleaning of the workshop including sweeping floors and emptying bins.
- Carry out minor servicing and repairs under supervision.
- Support Engineering Repair Trades staff with spare parts issuing and allocation.
- Operate light machinery such as pedestrian forklift, yard scrubber, floor scrubber, bin lifter.

**The talent you bring**:

- Must have relevant automotive experience shown on resume including the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Current NSW HR drivers licence (or have a current NSW C class licence and have the ability to upgrade to an HR licence).
- Computer literacy with the ability to record accurate maintenance information.
- Experience in bus maintenance and public transport operations (desirable).
