Graffiti Removal Officer

This position undertakes the removal of Graffiti on Council and non-Council properties using removal techniques as instructed.

The pay rate for this role is $33.94/hr + super working a 9 day fortnight based in Kingston.

**Duties**:

- Paint over graffiti with accurately matched paint or as specified.
- Examine the tagged surface to determine the appropriate chemical to be used to prevent further damage to the surface.
- Use the photographic equipment provided to record the graffiti tag prior to the removal as instructed.
- Maximise productivity by proactively removing all identified graffiti on the way to and from allocated work.
- Where it is unsafe to remove graffiti on first sight, log graffiti to ensure that it is removed on the next schedule.

**Applicants must have**:

- Current C Class Drivers’ License
- Ability to cope with physical labour and work in an outdoor environment
- Ability to work outside core hours Night Shift and Early starts
- Good communication skills and cultural awareness
- Trade Certificate and/**or** previous painting experience with the ability to colour match advantageous
- Prior cleaning experience also advantageous
