**About the business and the role**

Oriental Merchant is an established importer/distributor of Asian grocery products. We are looking for a warehouse assistant to join the team in our Chullora warehouse

**Job tasks and responsibilities**

You will be bulk picking grocery product orders, which includes lifting heavy items. The environment is busy and requires a high attention to detail and awareness of your surroundings.

**Shift times are either AM or PM shifts**

**AM**:Monday to Friday - 6:54am - 3pm

**PM**:Monday to Friday - 1:00pm - 9:06pm

**Requirements**:

- Full Australian working rights
- Experience as a pick/packer or warehouse assistant would be a great advantage but not essential
- Have a track record of accuracy and productivity and have a high attention to detail
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and commitment to work
- Have a positive attitude and able to work well in a team
- Comfortable lifting heavy weight up to 20kgs
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to own car is advantageous

An honest and reliable picker who has the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. You will have demonstrated punctuality and be comfortable working independently as well as in a team.
