We are seeking a motivated and passionate **Trainee**to join our team.

**About the Trainee role for Certificate 3**:
The traineeship involves on the job training and completing a Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care osuitable for any recent school leaver or if you're looking for your first step/ entry level role in early childhood.
- You will gain the industry recognised minimum qualification you’ll need to begin your career in early childhood education

**Trainee role for Diploma**:
You will work alongside experienced educators and gain exposure to children of all age groups.

Our centre is a friendly family owned and operated Child Care Centre, providing a wonderful learning environment for up to 60 children per day, ranging in ages from 0-6 years.

**Your duties will include but not be limited to the following;**
- Working Monday to Friday with a variety of shifts
- Ensuring supervision and safety of children during indoor and indoor activities
- Taking part in programming following the Early Years Learning framework
- Set up educational activities and experiences

Supporting daily routines including:

- Changing nappies
- Assisting with meal times and rest time
- Interacting, playing and engaging with children
- Maintaining a safe environment at all times
- Covering staff lunch breaks and assisting in daily cleaning duties
- Forming strong relationships with children, parents and families

**To be considered for this role, you must**:

- Not currently be undertaking any other traineeship.
- Willingness to learn, complete training and studies
- Passionate to work with children
- Flexible and able to demonstrate team work
- Applicant must have a genuine desire to pursue a career in early childhood/child care
- Show initiative, be punctual and be enthusiastic
- Good written and verbal communication skills are a must. The ability to read, write and speak English
- The ability to work with people in difficult situations and circumstances
- Empathy, patience, and the capacity to empower others
- Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask and respond well to rapid change

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
