Emergency Services Officer

Arts Queensland is looking for two (2) permanent full-time OO5 Emergency Services Officers to work at the Queensland Cultural Centre at South Brisbane.
**Key duties of this role include**:
- Oversee and respond to Fire, First Aid, Hazardous, and Environmental incidents at the QCC. Deliver Advanced First Aid and undertake duties during emergency operations at QCC.
- Supervise day-to-day fire prevention, protection, and safety functions for AQ properties, focusing on equipment and system checks.
- Attend events at QCC requiring specialised monitoring of fire systems and special effects. Provide high quality and timely fire, safety, and environmental emergency assistance, in addition to maintaining accurate records and files relating to these matters.
- Maintain effective liaison with relevant stakeholders, providing accurate and effective advice about fire, first aid, safety, or environmental emergency issues, as required.
- Conduct routine hazard inspections, report hazards, and collaborate on timely risk management. Report all hazards, implement an interim risk management process and work with key stakeholders to realise timely corrective actions.

- Salary: $79,283 - $86,909 p.a. + 12.75% super & allowances
