We’re on the hunt for an experienced and enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our close-knit team at the Newbay Hotel — a proudly family-owned pub located in Brighton. Our venue features a bistro, sports bar, gaming room, TAB, and a function space, offering a varied and fast-paced work environment.

This is a full-time leadership role, perfect for someone ready to take the next step in their hospitality career.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead front-of-house operations across bistro, bar, TAB and gaming
- Support the Venue Manager with opening/closing, rostering and team supervision
- Ensure exceptional customer service and high operational standards
- Hands-on role, working across all areas of the venue

What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar Duty Manager or 2IC role
- Confident managing bistro, bar, gaming and TAB areas
- Strong cash handling and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn

Required Certificates
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG)
- Current Gaming License
- TAB Basics
