**Your new company**

Our client is a leading mining company based in West Perth. They are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of the AP function and make the role your own.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for
- Processing invoices
- Reconciling statements
- Preparing payments
- Liaising with suppliers and approvers
- And maintaining accurate records.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role
- Confidence to work in a standalone AP role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (ideally Pronto)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desire to contribute to process improvement and system optimisation
