We work closely with our clients supporting them with daily self-care activities, attending appointments, community access with the focus on encouraging and promoting active, healthy and positive lifestyle choices.

GNCS have now stepped into the world of Aged Care and will be providing supports for the elderly with Home Care Packages (HCP)

**The Role**

MALE SUPPORT WORKER

We are seeking experienced Aged Care support worker for casual shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to support elderly Consumer in their private homes. This can involve manual handling, community access, transportation, personal care and companionship. This role is perfect for someone with a person-centred approach, who is energetic, excited to make a difference in people’s lives and is passionate about the work they do.

**Criteria**
- Male Support Worker - **Urdu speaking **preferrably
- Provide personal care for another elderly male: this involves showering and taking out for drive to Drs and into the Community x3 times a week
- MUST have aged care experience
- MUST have qualification
- MUST have car to drive to Friday Jumma and Drs etc
- 12hrs per week
- Working in Bulleen, Vic 3105

**Eligibility Criteria**
- Relevant work experience in Aged Care/Home Care
- Relevant qualification in Aged Care or Individual Support
- Willingness to accept short shifts
- Current First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID004) and CPR (HLTAID001) certificate
- National Police Check
- Full Australian Driver licence
- The right to work in Australia

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 12 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid and CPR Certification (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)

Work Location: In person
