**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional **Allied Health Receptionist** to be the first point of contact for our clients. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of a busy allied health clinic by managing appointments, handling enquiries, processing payments, and ensuring an exceptional client experience from start to finish.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments for multiple allied health practitioners.
- Handle patient intake and update client records using clinic management software.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage health fund claims (e.g., Home Care Package, HICAPS, Medicare, NDIS).
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
- Liaise with practitioners regarding client needs, bookings, and schedules.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including referrals and reports.
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and stock management.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with privacy policies at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare or allied health setting (_preferred but not essential_).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using computers, booking systems, and payment processing tools.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- A warm, empathetic, and client-focused attitude.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with allied health or medical software (e.g., Splose)
- Knowledge of health funding systems such as Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover, and private health insurers.
- Language: Vietnamese fluent (highly regarded)
- CPR and First Aid certification (optional but beneficial).

**Working Conditions**:

- Flexibility to work at home or clinic. No weekend work
- Collaborative work environment with a multidisciplinary team.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
