My Disability Care is a trusted and established NDIS-registered provider with offices in Brisbane and Hervey Bay. We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate support workers to join our growing team.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of people with disability, including those with complex mental health needs and Alzheimer’s. You will be supporting participants in their homes and out in the community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personalised in-home care and community access support to children/adults, and participant living with Alzheimer’s.
- Implement care strategies to support participants with complex mental health needs.
- Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and engagement in community activities.
- Build trusting relationships and promote independence and wellbeing.

**To be considered, you must have**:

- Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
- Experience supporting participants with complex mental health needs and Alzheimer’s
- Experience providing care to both children and adults, including in-home and community access support
- Availability to work outside of school hours (including evenings and weekends)
- Current Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
- Own reliable transport with full comprehensive insurance and current registration (mandatory)

**Mandatory Requirements (or willingness to obtain)**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Orientation Module certificate
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- National Criminal History Check (as required)

**Job Type**: Casual
**Hours**: Approximately 30 hours per week (tentative)
**Pay Rate**: $34.44 per hour (plus applicable penalty rates)
