**The Opportunity**

Join our dynamic team at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. We’re seeking an enthusiastic Barista/Catering Assistant to help deliver nutritious meals, outstanding customer service, and quality café experiences to our patients, staff, and visitors.

**_ This role will involve:_**
- Prepare a range of hot and cold drinks as a skilled Barista
- Deliver meals, food, and beverages to the hospital patients and doctors
- Assist with basic food preparation and meal plating
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic workspace
- Provide friendly, efficient service and handle POS transactions
- Assists in the monitoring and recording requirements of the FSP, for example, recording temperatures, cleaning schedule completion, receipt of goods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends

**Skills and Experience**
- Barista experience
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace, Health and Safety
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or kitchens
- Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay’s core values

**About Us**

Facilities include 9 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11-bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and a 9 chair day therapy unit. Medical consulting suites are located onsite together with comprehensive pathology and radiology services.
