**About the role**:
As a Cyber Security Analyst - Incident Handling and Forensics, you will:

- Respond to security threats and incidents, capturing and preserving forensic evidence.
- Design and deliver effective security controls for IT and clinical-OT environments.
- Provide consultancy on security measures across diverse teams, ensuring robust protection of organisational assets and compliance with regulatory standards.

**What your day will look like**:
**Cyber Security Expertise**: Secure both IT and OT environments by managing endpoint protection, threat hunting, SIEM, and network segmentation.

**Incident Investigation & Response**: Lead the investigation and mitigation of security incidents while capturing critical forensic data.

**Risk Analysis**: Assess and analyze security risks to recommend improvements and enhance system resilience.

**Security Controls Implementation**: Advise on and implement security controls to ensure seamless operations and mitigate potential disruptions.

**Technology Monitoring**: Stay ahead of emerging security trends to enhance and optimize existing protocols.

**Tool Development & Deployment**: Drive the development and deployment of security tools to enhance operational security and effectiveness.

**About you**:
**Proven Experience**: 3+ years in cyber security, including incident handling and risk analysis.

**Technical Expertise**: Knowledge of security tools, endpoint management, firewalls, and cloud environments (e.g., Azure).

**Regulatory Awareness**: Familiarity with Australian regulatory regimes (e.g., SOCI, Privacy Act) and industry standards (e.g., ISO27001).

**Certifications**: Desirable certifications include CISSP, GSEC, CEH, or equivalent.

**Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related fields, or equivalent experience.

**Personal Attributes**: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation and secure system design.
