This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Production Engineering Team as a **Technical Writer, **providing documentation support to both the Engineering and Production team in the form of Work Instructions and technical supporting literature. We are seeking a technical writer, ideally with a trade or technical background, who has an exceptional eye for detail with excellent communication skills.

The successful applicant will enjoy being part of an organization taking Australian technology to the world.
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Preferably a trade or technical background, familiar with manual tools and production processes with excellent attention to detail.
- Understand technical processes with ability to document these processes accurately and concisely.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident with Microsoft Office suite of tools. ERP (SAP) desirable, but not essential.
- “Can-do” attitude with strong work ethics and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Well organised, self-motivated, genuine team player

**Your key responsibilities will include**:
Reporting to the Production Engineering Manager you will form an integral part of the Production Engineering Team, providing valuable documentation support as a key link between the Engineering and Production departments.

To succeed in your new role, you will need to perform the following tasks:

- Coordinate and work closely with Engineers and the Production department to understand current manufacture processes and capture these in the form of a Work Instruction or technical supporting document.
- Take a structured approach to managing Work Instruction documentation, following systematic review, approval, release and implementation processes.
- Ensure documents created or updated are of high quality and in accordance with organisational standards.
- Engage with key stakeholders to help drive and deliver on project documentation
- Implement, comply with and enforce NOJA Power quality, environmental and workplace health and safety procedures
