**About Sports Aid**

**Availability Needed**:

- Monday afternoons - Training - 3:25 pm to 4:45 pm
- Wednesday afternoons - Match - 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm

**How to apply**

**Why this role**
Great for experienced coaches and aspiring educators who want hands-on experience in school sport.

**Responsibilities (Cricket-specific)**
- Plan and run age-appropriate sessions covering batting, bowling, fielding, and game awareness
- Teach correct technique (grip, stance, swing, seam/spin, wicket-keeping) and safe training habits
- Set up and manage nets, fielding drills, and small-sided games/scenarios
- Analyse performance; give clear, constructive feedback and individual improvement plans
- Prepare teams for fixtures (roles, batting orders, bowling changes, field settings)
- Promote fair play, inclusion, and player wellbeing

**Employment process**
- Get onboarded to our rostering platform
- Receive available **Cricket Coaching** positions
- Set your availability and accept shifts
- Receive confirmation of allocated shifts

**Payment**
- All coaching positions are paid
- Fortnightly payroll (Fridays)

**Requirements**:

- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Valid **Working with Children Check**:

- Strong knowledge of cricket laws, formats, and coaching methods
- Proven coaching experience (desirable) or **elite playing experience**:

- Coaching accreditation (e.g., **Cricket Australia Community Coach / Level 1**) desirable
- Excellent communication and teaching skills; reliable, professional, and child-safe aware

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual, Freelance, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
