Days: Monday - Friday

Children: B9

Pay: $35-$40 ph (negotiable)
- Full driver's licence required; with own car preferred
- Nanny must know how to swim

Our active and busy yet easy-going Pyrmont family, who loves food, travel, and new experiences, seeks a reliable, engaged, and energetic nanny who is creative, proactive, and disciplined. The family values professionalism, creativity, togetherness and a nurturing approach that supports the child's growth and curious/inquisitive nature.

Your day will include packing a quick lunch and dropping off at school. In the afternoon, pick him up from school, provide a snack, and assist with homework before wrapping up for the day. While the child is in school, the nanny will run some errands, assist with light household duties, tidying up, laundry, and assist Mum with admin tasks. No heavy cleaning is required, as the family has weekly housekeeping services. The nanny will need to cook simple and nutritious meals for the child and occasionally might cook for the family too.

Occasionally parents are present who both work from home but will transition to the office by Feb or March.

**Duties & Responsibilities include**:

- Organising and planning creative and educational activities
- Building a strong relationship with the family
- Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
- Managing basic household chores
- Maintaining all aspects of the care routine for the child
- Running errands on occasion
- School drop-off and pickup

**To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude, and qualifications**:

- A minimum of 3+ years of full-time experience working with children in Australia
- A minimum of 2 Australian-based child-related references
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Current National Criminal Record Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Excellent communication and English skills
- Experience travelling with families

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- working with children: 3 years (required)
