**The Company**
- This role would suit someone who has this experience in house or relevant experience within an agency environment looking to move in-house.
- This role provides autonomy as you support the company to deliver statutory benefits to injured/ill workers in line with regulatory requirements whilst reducing liabilities through effective claims management and early return to work.

**The Role**
- Provide specialist knowledge and support in all aspects of work-related injury, workers compensation claims and return to work strategy and process
- Determining liability and timely assessment of treatment/service requests
- Appropriately document claim decisions
- Develop and implement claim strategies that deliver positive and sustainable outcomes
- Interacting and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the end-to-end portfolio of claims for self-insured state of Tasmania

**To be considered for the role, you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end management of Workcover claims within a self-insurance setting
- Knowledge of the current and relevant Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (the Act) Tasmania
- Excellent time management and communication skills with the ability to adapt when changes occur
- Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet agreed deadlines and a high attention to detail
- Excellent customer services skills to support and give guidance to injured workers to recover and make a safe and sustainable return to work through claims management processes
