Retail Manager

This role is apart of the retail asset management team and based at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre in Brisbane and responsible for working in collaboration with Retail Partners to ensure they are successful.

How you will make an impact- Establish relationships with retailers to understand market conditions, fluctuation in their business and ensure proactive support.- Partner closely with marketing manager to implement retailer engagement strategies and onboarding new stores.- Work with retailers to ensure performance concerns are identified early and arrears are effectively managed.- Assist the Administration team to ensure arrears targets and reporting requirements are met.- Work closely with Administration and Marketing to ensure monthly sales figures are collected.- Review and analyse retailer performance including monthly sales reports, sales targets, and other associated retailer reporting.- Utilise research, undertake competitor visits to understand changes in the trade area and how this may impact on retailer and Centre performance.- Drive opportunities to increase centre Net Operating Income.

About You- Tertiary qualification in a Business or Property discipline.- Experience in a Retail Manager role within a centre management team is essential.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Experience using Yardi is preferred.- Strong ability to multitask and use initiative.- Ability to work effectively across teams and influence.- Conflict resolution.
