Bartender/server

**About the role**

Spotswood Hotel is looking for a passionate all rounder who will be focused mainly behind the bar. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative hospitality environment. While primarily most of the work will be behind the bar you will be expected to help on the floor and assist with social media posts.

**Responsibilities**
- Promote the bar via the venue’s social media platforms
- Prepare signature and classic cocktails, operate the bar, and serve food and beverages to guests with prompt, friendly and efficient service.
- Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Obtain knowledge of wine lists, beverage selections, menus, and daily specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all stations.
- Take food orders and enter them correctly into the Point-of-Sale System.
- Answer queries over the phone, and in person and take restaurant reservations.
- Set up or breakdown the bar according to your shift.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Working Rights in Australia
- Flexible availability to work, days/nights/weekends
- Cocktail/bar experience is highly regarded
- Previous experience within a busy fine dining or a la carte environment is desirable

Pay: $46,460.00 - $52,000.00 per year
