An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Sales Assistant to join our corporate health business, Australian Vaccine Services (AVS), on a casual basis

AVS delivers flu vaccination services to thousands of businesses nationally.

The Sales and Administration Assistants at AVS are our clients' and their employees' first point of contact. Customer service is key to our success and mission, so we are after staff to provide a positive professional and friendly experience.

Reporting to the senior management team, the position requires the Administration Assistants to support our senior team by completing tasks to support their account management of our clients.

1. Casual Admin Support support the team during the busy flu season (Nov > June) and is based in our head office in Tuggerah NSW.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide sales support, including outbound sales call to follow up on proposals sent by AVS.
- Operate as part of a multidisciplinary team, willing to help with various jobs as they come up. Teamwork and being able to pivot and work on various tasks are crucial to being a successful team member at AVS
- Providing reporting to the senior AVS team and client representatives as outlined as required.
- Comply with privacy and confidentiality principles to all work practices.
- Work with AVS’s own IT system help schedule clients, follow up appointments and track bookings.
- Work within the AVS system and Xero to produce/send invoices for services completed by AVS.

Preferred Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

- Previous experience in a healthcare or a medical setting as if preferred.
- Previous experience with telephone based sales calls
- Intermediate computer knowledge and skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail is necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must. You will be on the phone a lot, so we need someone that is not shy and willing to talk to clients.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft software, with a particular focus on Outlook and Excel

Interviews may be contacted remotely or in person at the AVS office.

Administrative Duties:

- Scheduling
- Sales follow up (not cold calling, but following up on proposals previously sent or finding a new contact when our previous client contact has moved on).
- Running errands
- Answering and routing phone calls
- Checking in people for bookings,
- General Admin Support

Financial Duties:

- Billing (via AVS system)

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
