Labourpower Trade are seeking experienced Injection Mould Technicians for a permanent placement with our client who specialises in Plastic Packaging.

**About the Role**

**Your Main Duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Set up of molds in injection moulding machines
- Organise and setup workstation in manufacturing areas as required
- Instructing machine operators and packers on correct and safe operations around the machine
- Working with Quality on setup productivity improvements
- Die Trials
- Product/material trials
- Trouble Shooting
- Quality Manufacturing
- Process Monitoring
- Robot Adjustments/Programming
- Process Improvements
- Continuous Improvements
- Material/Master batch approval
- Updating relevant documents during process
- Assisting with Packing, Maintenance & Housekeeping where required

**To be successful for this position, you will have**:

- Sound knowledge of plastic injection moulding equipment, ancillaries, plastic resins, additives and molds
- Sound knowledge of Set-up and tear-down procedure of molds
- Minimum 5 years experience preferred
- Ability to read work instructions and do basic math
- Good interpretation skills
- Required use of judgment to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of operations
- and processes within limitation of procedures and set practices
- The ability to Stand, Reach, Twist & Lift materials up to 15kg repeatedly through the entire shift

**Salary**: $35.00 - $36.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
