We are currently seeking an intelligent customer focussed individual to join our builder's equipment hire team as part of our hire trainee program.

This role will suit an individual looking to commence a meaningful career in a stable and strong industry. No experience is required, just a genuine interest in machines and/or construction, partnered with sense of commitment and a willingness and ability to learn.

**Position Description**:
This is a "graduate-style" position in which the successful applicant will undergo three rotations (2-4 months each) through parts of the business to learn all aspects of operations, with the aim of progressing to a more senior role on the counter within 12 months (fast-tracked for applicants with existing skills).

This role reports directly to the Operations Manager, though during each placement, day-to-day direction and feedback will be given by the appropriate department managers.

Initially the work will be mostly physical in nature. After moving into the office, a substantial amount of time will be spent dealing with customer enquiries (phone and walk in) while still utilising your new skills in the yard and workshop on occasion as required.

You will be supported to perform key responsibilities, including learning about our equipment, procedures and best practice, as well as undertaking training courses as required (e.g. forklift, test and tag, first aid).

Previous staff who have held this role have gone on to become branch managers and other senior roles within the business and abroad.

This is a full time salary role 5 days per week.
